This lightweight frame combines smoothly with the SR Suntour XCT fork with 100mm travel and hydraulic lockout. You’ll get an excellent return for your effort on the Avalanche Comp, with the 3x9 speed Shimano Alivio drivetrain powering you through the wilderness. While you roll on WTB Transition tires, which give you just the right mix of traction and speed. This is paired with Shimano disc brakes so that you can stop on a dime, every time.
The GT Avalanche Comp is purpose-engineered for the mountain, made to be high on performance but low on cost. The Avalanche Comp will take you from the paths to the trails seamlessly and then really show off its capabilities on the dirt.
