How to Clean Your Cycling and  Motorcycle Helmet

While a clean lid might not be liable for increased speed, ability, or performance, it looks good. Your helmet is probably your most important piece of kit, so keeping it in good nick is essential. Plus, there's nothing worse than heading out for a ride and having to pop a grimy helmet on your noggin.

Here's our step-by-step guide to keep your lid smelling fresh and good.

Step 1: Grab your helmet (obviously).

Step 2: While the outside of your helmet might look the grubbiest, your liner picks up more dirt and bacteria than you might think! Textiles are not sterile and can harbor a high bacterial count, including bacteria transmitted from the skin, eventually leading to microbial spoilage and textile deterioration. To combat this, spray the inside of your helmet with our Foam Fresh. Its instant foaming action gently agitates dirt and grime away from the surface, leaving a fresh citrus burst fragrance. Lovely!

Step 3: Spray our specially formulated Visor, Lens, and Goggle Cleaner all over the outside of your helmet. Use our Helmet and Visor Microfiber Cloth to gently wipe away any excess liquid while simultaneously polishing for a nice, shiny finish. Our Visor, Lens, and Goggle Cleaner are fully biodegradable and completely safe for all lens materials, including polycarbonate.

Step 4: Use our Anti-Fog treatment to ensure your goggles or visor stay fog-free! Our Anti-Fog therapy lasts up to five days using cutting-edge moisture absorption technology. To apply, make sure the area is clean and contaminant free. Shake the bottle to activate the formula before spraying a light mist of treatment onto the surface of your goggles or visor. Gently wipe with a dry piece of tissue.
