The Monkey Bone is an adapter to transfer the torque for the Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 directly to the frame. To use the Monkey Bone, you need a SPEEDHUB 500/14 equipped with an OEM2 axle plate, an International Standard (IS) frame for disc brake mounts, and a Postmount disc brake caliper (PM). The Monkey Bone is not compatible with IS calipers or frames with an integrated/direct post mount.
