Increase your power output by analyzing your power readings. The affordable Quarq Riken AL Power Meter (GXP), with aluminum cranks, uses the latest technology to achieve this & is thanks to the complex integrated electronics built into the spider unit.

Quarq power meters use their patented direct-force technology to measure your physical performance throughout your ride. Their meter is located in the crankset, the heart of the bicycle. Because it gathers data from both legs and it's located at the precise point where muscle energy is converted to forward movement, the power meter spider is the proper place to gather power data.

Quarq Power Meter Interfaces
Quarq power meters use two different crank arm interfaces that are not cross-compatible.

The 3-bolt interface is the standard SRAM interface with no integrated spider. The 8-bolt interface was introduced in the Quarq power meter designs in August 2014. It aids manufacturing and serviceability. More importantly, it delivers stable and consistent zero offsets when power meter spiders are swapped between crank arms.

In addition, the 10K temperature compensation feature eliminates weather as a variable. Quarq's technology gives you the data in real-time and a solid performance record for review later on. Quarq power meters offer easy verified zeroing, and the Qalvin app allows you to set the zero offset, check batteries and run diagnostics.

Power Balance™ captures left and proper drive strokes, and OmniCal™ gives you a choice of chainrings with no compromise on accuracy. Both cranks and spiders are made from aluminum, with the spider unit machined in-house from raw blocks of high-strength aluminum. Also, they're manufactured to excruciating standards in a factory with ISO9001 Quality Management System certification.
