The Italian name "Prologue" recalls the opening appointment of a Grand Tour, but many like to pronounce it "Pro logo", or "For the logo". The Prologo jersey, now in its sixth generation, really has a great logo, but more than that it has many small technical improvements resulting from experience with professionals. The fabric is remarkably soft and stretchy, as well as has bio-ceramic nanoparticles added to the melted polymer, which reflects infrared light to protect you from the hot sun and, at the same time, help keep your body warm. The construction also borrows some insights from the pros: the same back construction of the pockets helps the jersey wrap around the waist while leaving room for more capacious pockets on the back.
