Challenge Handmade Elite Pro Road Tire, 260TPI

Durable, excellent value training and racing tyre for rough, wet roads

The Elite Pro is a handmade clincher tire with the Challenge SuperPoly casing and a kevlar, folding bead. It is intended for use on the road, whether that is for training or racing purposes. The SuperPoly casing is made from polyester and is designed for durability. The natural rubber used to make the tread provides a superior grip. A layer of uniquely crafted fabric with highly resistant properties sits between the casing and the tire to reduce the risk of punctures.

This folding tire with a 260 TPI casing is very supple and provides a very low rolling resistance. So it is a comfortable tire, especially for long stage races. Puncture Protection Strip (PPS), which is an extra layer of highly resistant material between the casing and the tire to reduce the risk of punctures.
