CTK Light - New Pro Ltd 12 X148 Boost Rear Hub
The first rear hub is designed for SRAM EAGLE 12v drivetrains. or SHIMANO with 10/50 cassettes
With the advent of the new SRAM EAGLE 12v. o SHIMANO with oversized cassettes 10/50 - 11/50, enormously increases the torsional forces under stress in the hub/body engagement area. This is with hubs designed for 10 / 11s cassettes. smaller in size, it considerably increases the risk of damage and breakage.
For this, we have completely redesigned our new CTK LIGHT PRO LTD rear hub:
- New oversized hub body and body side flange with stronger and larger bearings.
- The new freewheel body is even more robust, with 5 PAWLS in steel and 33 engagement positions (previous 26). A greater number of engagement points halves the transmission time of torque to the wheel and allows faster and more prompt acceleration.
- New labyrinth hub insulation project that reduces the ingress of water and dirt into the hub by a further 60%.
- 5 high-performance bearings are MADE IN JAPAN with very high smoothness.
- Axle in Al7075-T6 aluminium CNC machined and hard anodized treatment for greater rigidity and durability.
