With 27 gears provided by its triple chainset 9-speed setup, our BIG.NINE 60 always has the right gear for you. Pair that with our double-butted aluminum frame and its more comfort-focused geometry, and you get the perfect hardtail for long off-road outings and fast blasts through the urban jungle. A 100 mm suspension fork from RockShox and hydraulic disc brakes improve comfort and control even further.
Mountain biking is one of the most varied cycling disciplines and probably the most demanding when it comes to equipment. While full-suspension bikes offer amazing riding characteristics, the classic hardtail remains one of the purest tools for the job. Our 29er wheel is equipped BIG.NINE range comes in carbon and aluminum and features multiple geometry options. The carbon and LITE framed BIG.NINE, with its racing geometry, is an ideal companion on XC and marathon race tracks whilst the more relaxed geometry of the BIG NINE TFS and SPEED offers a more comfortable, upright riding position. Our classic hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we could gain in almost half a century of bike production and manufacturing. Any orders received out of Bangalore will attract a nominal shipping charge, to be decided and applied by couriers, after the order is placed and when the product is ready for dispatch - by checking the volumetric weight of the shipment box. X-Taper Headtube
Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precision and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.
Down Tube Exit
Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.
Racelite 61 Aluminium
We use a minimum of 6061 aluminum. The payback is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.
TFS - Techno Forming System
Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative molds, at times combined with an internal metal core.
F-Mount
‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model-specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.
K-Mount
Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).
C-Mount
‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require a model-specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
