The Shimano 11-speed chain CN-HG701-11 is a directional, high-quality HG-X11 chain, which fits perfectly on Ultegra and XT groupsets. Thanks to the newly dimensioned plates, the 138 link version can also be used for E-bikes. CN-HG701-11 chains convince with efficient, low maintenance, and smooth shifting performance, which is due to the SIL-TEC surface coating. This is the classic version with a chain pin.

The CN-HG701-11 chain has an asymmetrical design. The direction of travel must therefore be taken into account when installing. The specially shaped plates optimize the mesh between the sprocket and result in smoother gear changes even under load. To save weight, these chains have recesses in the inner plates. The side with the mark is the outside.
