Connected to SRAM RED® eTap Blip remotes, the BlipBox manages wireless shifting via AIREA™, SRAM's proprietary communication protocol, allowing immediate shifting from almost any aerial position.
AIRE™
Using 128-bit encryption, eTap ® shift signals are transmitted and received in accordance with SRAM's proprietary wireless protocol known as AIREA. Every time an eTap group is paired, a new encryption code is generated and assigned to the components of this group to ensure the complete security of the changes.
