Influenced by our road bike range, the SPEEDER 400 combines quality road components with a lightweight aluminum frame and full carbon forks. The end result is a fast, agile, and fun-to-ride flat-barred road bike (fitness bike) that loves tackling the daily commute as much as being taken out for long fast road outings at the weekend. Multiple fixing points allow bottle cages, fenders, and a rear rack to be fitted, increasing the versatility of our fitness bikes even further.
Fast and lightweight, the SPEEDER shares its genes with our road bike range. The geometry offers an extended reach for added stability while providing a more upright and comfortable riding position. The sporty yet comfort-inspired geometry paired with control-enhancing flat handlebars and powerful disc brakes makes the SPEEDER ideal for fast commuting or fitness rides. Wider tires and more tire clearance underline the comfort element even further and give the SPEEDER more grip when it counts. Pro-Lite 66 Triple-Butted Aluminum
Our proven high-end aluminum (6066) is extremely light and durable. Using triple-butted wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, we can tune the aluminum tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.
HFS - Hydro Forming System
Tubes are inserted into negative molds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through at pressure, enabling them to be formed into complex shapes.
X-Taper Headtube
Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precision and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.
Down Tube Exit
Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.
TFS - Techno Forming System
Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative molds, at times combined with an internal metal core.
F-Mount
‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model-specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.
C-Mount
‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require a model-specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
